After an excited, emotional, physical, mental week in Genk, Belgium for the World Champs KZ / KZ2 we are back home.
It was an hopeful weekend for us with good speed showed in the free pratices but unfortunately unlucky at the time qualication due to water on the track and technical problems. We got qualified 16th overall out of 32 drivers. ☺️
We had to run 2 heats on saturday and 1 heat on sunday before the final starts. In heat 1 we came in 7th, in heat 2 we came in 4th and in the 3rd heat we came in 7th.
Overall we had to start in the big final from P12. After an good start we were able to avoid some accidents and the performance of the chassis/engine we were able to climb up to P6, unfortunately we couldn’t keep the performance going and we got passed by 4 drivers to the end of the race which brought us P10.
It’s not the result where we were working for, but simple said and being realistic, this time we were not fast enough to win… The things didn’t fall on our side this time..
We will keep pushing and working to make things better and faster to set a goal for next season, the World Championship KZ 2019! ☀️
